‘Living Faith’

Beloved hope you enjoying this ride with me on the adventure of Faith Revival. There was something I read in the Word the other day, I came across Now Faith. I would like to share this with you. We are now going to go on the journey of looking at what kind of Faith we need….

Lets start with reading : Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

To understand this, lets reflect on what we have learnt so far. We started off by speaking about What is Faith then we learnt how to apply Faith by allowing Jesus Christ present in our life. As we see that Jesus Christ is the author & finisher of our Faith . OK so now we know what is Faith and how we can apply it and have Faith. Lets go back to our opening scripture Romans 8:6, the scripture talks about being carnally minded and spiritually minded. Now in order for us to know if we are spiritually minded and carnally minded , we need to look at what it means to be spiritually minded and carnally minded…

Hebrews 11 :1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

From reading this scripture we can see that having Faith is being in the spiritual. How do we know this? Because it says that Faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things unseen. Faith is believing in things that you cant see in the physical. It is walking in the spirit. So having Faith in God is to be spiritually minded and people who don’t have Faith in God are carnally minded, you live in flesh. This is not of God , He is spirit and works in the spirit .

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 

This means God is not flesh, He does not work according to the flesh but in the spirit. So if He is spirit we are spirit, because the bible says we are made in his image, therefore we must act in the spirit. To be carnally minded (think in the flesh) is against God that is why in Romans 8:6 it says : ” To be Carnally minded is death” . Living in the flesh causes lack of peace, you are always focusing, believing on the things that are tangible (things that are touchable) rather then believing in the promises God has given you. Now lets move on to the deeper part of the scripture, Hope you are still with me!!! ….

In Romans 8:6 after God tells us about being carnally minded He starts to tell us, in detail what the answer to Life is. He says “To be spiritually minded is Life and Peace” . The Peace God is talking about here, is ‘contentment’ , being filled with joy no matter what situation, circumstance or challenge you are going through. You have Peace, you are content because you know that all things that God has promised are available to you Now!!

This is when you are activating the Now Faith. This is one of the greatest thing to have as a child of God. This is when you see that being a child of God is really being in favor everyday. You may ask What is Now Faith?? .. Now Faith is to bring the promises of God to Life, it is to address them and speak of them in the ‘NOW’! Not in the future but in the Present. Because that is what activates the promises of God to happen in you life. NOW FAITH is what brings things to life, because by applying Now Faith, you are already envisioning yourself  living in that reality that you desire, (that mansion, marriage, business, prosperity)  you are believing that the promise of God has already come to pass .  And as a result of Now Faith you will see yourself living in the instant reality of what the word of God says! Because in Heaven things already are are! So why not in you Life?! If it is available and it already exists in Heaven, then the type of Faith we must operate in is the NOW FAITH!!

Now Faith is aligning your mind with the present reality of Heaven! Now Faith makes you confidently restful, when others are panicking you are rejoicing!! It is looking at your pocket that is empty and saying my pocket is FULL , my business is moving, my ministry is growing, I AM RICH , I AM STRONG..

Psalm 28:7

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Now Faith is removing the reality of what we see with our eyes and replacing it with the heavenly reality. So the only effective Faith one can have is the Now Faith. Now Faith is bringing things alive that was dead or stagnant  in your life. Because things in the spirit are given Now and are available Now!.. Remember what Romans 8:6 says “To be spiritually minded is Life” . So walk in the Now reality! Walk in the Now Faith. By walking in the Now Faith you are living according to the will of God. That is why Jesus says in Mathew 17:20 , that” if you have Faith and you tell that mountain (problem) to move it shall be removed”. So it is the will of God for you to live in Now Faith.

That job you been looking for, that business that has been dead for many years, that ministry that is not growing , start to Confess NOW that you are Rich , you are FAVORED because the word of God says:

Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

HALLELUJAH!!! …….

 

Starting from today begin to live in the Heavenly Realm of God!!!!!
